Insight Flow is a comprehensive AI co-pilot and workspace designed specifically for business consultants, strategists, and advisors. By integrating real-time transcription, live insight generation, and contextual document retrieval into a single dashboard, the platform eliminates the cognitive overload of note-taking, allowing consultants to focus entirely on active listening and strategic client guidance.

The Challenge & Insights Gathering
Creating a system that effectively supports high-stakes client consultations required understanding the intense cognitive demands placed on strategists. The initial phase focused on identifying the friction points during live strategy sessions and the subsequent administrative burden. Discovery Workshops & Stakeholder Interviews We conducted observational sessions and interviews with senior consultants and advisory teams. A critical insight emerged: the dual task of driving a complex conversation while synthesising notes and manually hunting for reference documents was degrading the quality of client interactions. The goal became engineering a digital workspace that acts as a silent, proactive partner—surface-level simple for the consultant, but technically sophisticated under the hood.
Defining the Ecosystem: Personas & Roles
To map the flow of consultation data effectively, we defined three core user archetypes. Managing the interaction between the primary consultant and the AI assistant was pivotal for the platform's success.
Iteration & Strategic Pivoting
During the initial wireframing phase, the design leaned heavily toward a traditional note-taking layout alongside a standard chat interface for the AI. However, early conceptual testing with senior strategists revealed a critical flaw.
Mapping the User Flows
With the new proactive architecture in place, we mapped specific user journeys to ensure data flowed seamlessly from pre-session preparation to post-session analysis.
Interface Solutions & Accessibility
Consultants operate in high-pressure environments where a single distraction can derail a pitch. The interface required a highly organised, low-cognitive-load layout.
